I absolutely adored the beautiful decoration of Afrika-Pearl! The attention to detail in the general areas was delightful, with stylish furnishings and exquisite touches everywhere. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was for someone like me. The pathways were well-maintained and there were no stairs to climb, making it easy to navigate around the hotel.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be more assistance from the children working there. Sometimes I needed a helping hand with my luggage or directions, and it would have been nice to have someone readily available.

One of the standout aspects of this hotel is its attention to detail. From the beautifully decorated rooms to the thoughtful extras like biscuits and fresh grapes, every little touch has been considered. The hosts, Christelle and Johan, go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. Another highlight is the location, nestled in the mountains in close proximity to local schools and the center of town.
All was excellent, nothing to improve.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely lovely, with beautiful furnishings and tasteful artwork throughout. The general areas were spacious and well-maintained, making it easy for senior people like me to navigate around. I especially appreciated the accessibility features, such as ramps and handrails, which made it safe and convenient for me to move around the hotel.
I would have liked the children working there to be a bit more attentive to the needs of senior guests. Perhaps they could provide additional assistance or be more proactive in offering help to ensure a better vacation experience for senior people.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hidden gem tucked away in the picturesque hills of South Africa. The hotel's attention to detail was impressive, with little extras like biscuits, chocolates, and different types of teas and coffees that made me feel truly pampered. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and immaculate, and the comfortable bed ensured I had a restful night's sleep. The location of the hotel was also ideal, being close to the center of town and within walking distance of some fantastic restaurants. But the real highlight of my stay was the excellent breakfast prepared by the talented chef, Christelle. Her dishes from her personal collection of recipes were a delight, and the breakfast table was always laid out immaculately with fresh flowers she picked from her garden. The warmth and kindness of the hosts, Johan and Christelle, further added to the overall stellar experience.
All aspects of this hotel were more than satisfactory, leaving nothing to be desired.

The air-conditioned rooms at Afrika-Pearl were amazing! They kept us cool and comfortable, which was perfect for the hot weather during our stay. We loved having a kitchen in our selected room. It had everything we needed, like an oven, microwave, and stovetop, making it easy for us to prepare meals. The flat-screen TV in the units provided great entertainment options, allowing us to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. It was so cozy to have a fireplace in the apartment. It added a warm and inviting atmosphere during the chilly evenings. The double room with air conditioning was a savior! We slept like babies and woke up refreshed every morning. In the twin room, we had an electric kettle for our convenience. It made it super easy to make a cup of tea whenever we wanted. We felt safe knowing that our air-conditioned rooms had a safety deposit box to store our valuables securely. The double room with kitchenware was a great bonus. It made it feel like a home away from home. The air-conditioned rooms with a fridge were a blessing. Our drinks and snacks stayed cool throughout the day. The double room with a sofa was perfect for lounging and relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing.
That the double room could have had more seating options.
